What You Will Be Doing
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our HANA, Oracle, and Sybase database systems, including patching, architecting, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our database environments are running smoothly and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Day-to-day upkeep of HANA, Oracle, and Sybase database systems
• Patching and maintaining database systems to ensure security and stability
• Architecting and designing database environments to meet business needs
• Troubleshooting and resolving database issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems are aligned with business objectives
• Ensuring database systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. Learn more here: SOF GLSS

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience administering HANA databases
- Security + Certification (or another DoD 8570 level II or higher certification)
- Interim DoD Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret clearance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs while complying with RMF and SOX regulations.
- Ability to support a flexible work schedule to accommodate off-peak maintenance activities.
Desired Skills:
- VI Editor experience
- Experience applying STIGs
- Oracle database administration experience
- Sybase database administration experience
- Ability to respond to inquiries regarding software and hardware operations and resolve problems
- Experience managing, monitoring, and administering database system performance/schedule activities
- Experience performing backups/restores of various environments, as well as archiving data.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
