Job Description The senior database administrator role is responsible for the health, performance, and best practices of all our SQL Servers, providing constant recommendations for improvement. Must work closely with DMS vendor and development teams to ensure the quality of our environments. Responsibilities:  Manage SQL Server 2012-2019 either stand alone or AlwaysOn, AWS RDS  Perform code reviews to ensure optimal performance  Installation, migration and upgrade of databases in coordination with the IT Application team.  Ensure that database servers are built according to best practices and internal specifications.  Manage, identify and resolve database issues related to performance and capacity.  Ensure database management and maintenance tasks are performed effectively.  Create automated reports to ensure best practices are applied in our environment  Perform regular audits to ensure security, data integrity and quality.  Automate repetitive processes  Stay updated with new database technologies and analyze such technologies to bring into scope of existing infrastructure.
