The selected candidate will implement and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases. Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases in general. Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and/or triggers.

Basic Qualifications:
Level 2: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years experience; or Bachelors and 2 years experience; or Masters and 0 years experience.Level 3: High school diploma or equivalent and 9 years experience; or Bachelors and 5 years experience; or Masters and 3 years experience; or PhD and 1 year experience.Experience with Oracle Database.Experience working with PL/SQL.Experience with MS Access-based applications and VBA.Willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able to maintain that clearance.Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.Preferred Qualifications:
Top Secret Clearance.Experience with Oracle in Windows environments.Experience with Sunflower Asset Management Database.Experience with the installation, configuration, and upgrading Oracle databases.Familiarity with Python, PERL, and/or Java a plus.Security+ Certification.Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Salary Range 2: $97,500.00 - $146,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
