Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Database Administrator Specialists in Jacksonville, FL to install, maintain, and upgrade databases, internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products in public cloud (AWS). Design, deploy and manage Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL database solutions in the public cloud (AWS). Support microservice applications and assisting in their successful implementation and Data Migrations. Control user access and passwords in public cloud (AWS). Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system in public cloud (AWS). Monitors usage and performance in public cloud (AWS). Train personnel on system usage in public cloud (AWS). Troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues

in public cloud (AWS). Assist with recommending, scheduling, and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs in public cloud (AWS). Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products in public cloud (AWS). Support Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment in public cloud (AWS). Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth in public cloud (AWS).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: installing and configuring Databases in AWS and Azure; setting up CICD using Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory and Harness; automating AWS resource provisioning, and managing using Terraform; deploying and managing Databases; and setting up security within AWS.
