We support them by providing materials management, planning, inventory and warehouse solutions.Partner with the bestAs a Senior Database Administrator, you should have strong experience as a DBA, including hands-on experience with SQL Server Administration, administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting on premise as well as Cloud.As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances, including SQL Server clustering, replication, and AlwaysOnMonitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and optimise SQL queriesPlan and execute database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery plansImplement and manage database security (user roles, permissions, data encryption)Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements regarding data security and privacyDiagnose and resolve database-related issues, including availability, performance, and data integrity problemsCollaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas, indexes, and stored proceduresReview and optimise database designs, queries, and stored procedures for performance and efficiencyManage and apply security patches for SQL Server instances, ensuring that all systems remain up-to-date and compliant with organisational security policiesPlan and execute data migrations, including version upgrades and data conversionsImplement and manage data integration solutions using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or similar ETL toolsMaintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policiesGenerate and analyse reports on database performance, usage, and issues

Experience:

4-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in a production environmentProven experience with SQL Server versions [2016 & above], including installation, configuration, and maintenance

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL scriptingExperience with performance tuning, query optimization, and index managementKnowledge of SQL Server high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) optionsFamiliarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS)Experience with cloud-based database solutions (eg, Azure SQL Database) including migration from datacenter to cloudProficiency in PowerShell scripting for database automationExperience with idera or any other monitoring Tool.
