Description We are in search of a Database Analyst to join our team based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The individual will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling large datasets, providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. The role encompasses the creation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and the identification of trends to optimize processes and strategies. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and tools to identify trends and patterns that can aid business decisions.
• Collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party tools, ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize your expertise in SQL to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
• Develop and maintain data documentation and workflows for future reference, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory data privacy standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and challenges, providing data-driven insights to improve processes and outcomes.
• Create engaging reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to business goals through your analysis.
• Use your knowledge of statistical programming languages like Python or R to further enhance your data analysis.
• Leverage your skills in Business Intelligence (BI) and CRM to further optimize processes and strategies.
• Ensure the maintenance and management of data privacy standards.
• Utilize AB Testing and Backup Technologies to enhance data security and effectiveness. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM is necessary for maintaining customer relationships and tracking interactions.
• Solid understanding of Database Objects is required to manage and control data effectively.
• Familiarity with Database Systems is required to ensure optimal database performance and security.
• Proficiency in DB2 Database is necessary for managing, storing, and retrieving data.
• Strong skills in Microsoft suite are essential for managing data and creating reports.
• Experience in AB Testing is necessary to optimize database performance and user experience.
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies is required to ensure data protection and recovery.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) is necessary for analyzing data and making informed business decisions.
