As part of our team, you will:

Work with Linux Red Hat, Microsoft Windows, and database environments to ensure seamless operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage IT and database solutions that meet system requirements.

Troubleshoot, support, and enhance critical applications and database systems to minimize disruptions.

Develop and document comprehensive technical content, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system architecture diagrams.

Implement change management processes, backup strategies, and performance optimizations to maintain system and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

Administer and optimize hybrid environments, including Linux Red Hat, Microsoft Windows, and database systems.

Design, implement, and maintain databases, considering operational efficiency, security, and performance.

Prepare technical documentation, including SOPs, system architecture diagrams, and root cause analysis reports.

Evaluate and recommend system and database solutions, aligning with business and technical requirements.

Lead system and database backup, recovery, and troubleshooting efforts.

Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Required:

Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical teams and management.

Expertise in Linux Red Hat systems, database administration, or both, with experience in hybrid IT environments.

Hands-on experience with tools such as OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, or database technologies like Microsoft SQL or MySQL.

Proficiency in automation and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, BMC BladeLogic).

A BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or equivalent.

Desired:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Familiarity with backup and monitoring tools like NetBackup or Zabbix.

Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience supporting federal civilian customers, particularly within the judicial system.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
