Database Architect

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of database technologies, data modeling, and data warehousing, ensuring the integrity, performance, and scalability of our database systems.

HOW A DATABASE ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation

● Design and implement database architecture solutions, ensuring data quality, performance, and scalability.

● Develop and maintain database structures, schemas, and procedures.

● Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into database designs.

● Optimize and troubleshoot database performance issues.

● Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.

● Conduct regular database backups and recovery processes.

● Stay current with emerging database technologies and industry trends.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience.
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

Required Skills and Abilities

● Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role.

● Extensive experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.

● Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing.

● Experience with performance tuning and optimization.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

● Certification in database technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).

● Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).

The likely salary range for this position is $193,972 - $262,431. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
