Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Database Developer in Bronx, New York. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in both the development and programming of our databases. This role is heavily focused on the development aspect, with SQL, Java, and HTML being the main tools used. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities • Utilize cloud technologies to maintain and upgrade databases • Create dashboards to present data in an easily interpretable manner • Collaborate with team members to understand and meet business requirements • Implement AB testing to understand user behavior and make data-driven decisions. Requirements • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is essential • Demonstrable experience with Database Object • Strong knowledge of Informatica • Familiarity with MapR software • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server • Experience with AB Testing techniques • Prior experience in Business Intelligence (BI) • Ability to create and maintain Business Requirement Documents • Experience in creating dashboards • Familiarity with various data sources and data integration • Proficient in SQL • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong understanding of database structure principles • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
