Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Developer, focused on the insurance and healthcare industry, based in San Antonio, Texas. The job function involves a hands-on approach to developing and supporting solutions for an experienced customer base. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with staff programmers and execute complex, highly visible projects across all product lines. • Design, develop, and support multiple customer sites, integrating SQL database services with secure Web Services and Mobile Apps. • Implement and maintain compliance requirements such as HIPAA, working with the HIPAA officer. • Engage in experienced SQL design and architecture, programming TSQL, and creating stored procedures for universal DB design. • Integrate SSRS Reports with security rules and web applications. • Manage database programming of product security, user access rules, and HIPAA compliance. • Develop SSIS data import and export solutions and CLR programming in the SQL database. • Design SQL for scale and performance, tuning, and optimization. • Write design documents for internal teams, business solutions, and external customer support. • Collaborate and integrate software with hosting providers and trading partners. • Perform quality assurance testing and code reviews, ensuring consistent release updates for customer base without problems or regression failure. • Uphold standards for security requirements, software, business processes, and overall quality of work. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of a Database Developer. • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is essential for this role. • Must possess extensive knowledge and experience in working with Database Objects. • Experience with Informatica is a key requirement for this position. • Familiarity with MapR will be considered a significant advantage. • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is crucial for successful performance in this role. • Experience in AB Testing is highly desirable. • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and techniques is required. • Ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Documents is essential. • Experience in creating Dashboards is a must. • Knowledge and experience in managing Data Sources is a requirement for this role. • Proficiency in C# - Sharp is crucial for this role. • Experience in SQL Server is required. • Proficiency in C++ is a desired skill for this role.
