Job Description Insight Global is seeking a DBA/EBS Administrator to join a large natural-gas only utility company in Dallas, Texas. This person will be responsible for performing administration, management, configuration, documentation, and end-user support of the database systems and for Oracle eBusiness system. This individual will also be responsible for installations, migrations, and upgrades of these systems. They will need to respond to system emergencies that need database administration support and participate in an on-call rotation once a month. Skills and Requirements - 5+ years of experience managing and overseeing Oracle RDBMS 11g (or higher) - Experience performing administration duties in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or higher) - Prior experience working with Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (not a database) - DBA duties will include:   § Performing installations, migrations, and upgrades within the two database systems   § Documenting database setups and operations, creating necessary reports when needed   § Perform database backup / recovery and understand the Oracle E-Business Suite cloning procedure   § Prior experience ensuring the security of databases and taking the proper measures to protect any company data - Hands-on experience using Bash Shell to automate tasks - Knowledge of PL/SQL Oracle , TSQL/SQL Server - Knowledge of administering MS Azure SQL DB - Knowledge of Change Management Process - Hands-on experience working with scripting languages such as PowerShell (Win) and Ansible (Linux-Windows) - Strong experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
