Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Experience as a Senior Level Database Administrator, with a focus on PostgreSQL and similar database technologies such as Oracle or MS-SQLProven track record of implementing and leading SRE practices across large organizations or complex teamsExpert-level knowledge of telemetry, monitoring, and platform observability tooling (e.g., ESAAS, Grafana, Prometheus,) with experience in customizing and scaling these solutionsExperience in implementing modern DevOps and SRE practices in enterprise environmentsProven expertise in SQL query optimization and database performance tuning at scaleExperience with DevOps automation tools such as Code versioning (git), JIRA, Ansible, Containers and Kubernetes (OpenShift), database CI/CD tools and their implementationExperience in implementing PostgreSQL Container patterns on Kubernetes with the help of a PostgreSQL operator or a Helm chartsRecognized as a PostgreSQL subject matter expert, serving as the technical escalation for complex database issuesProven experience in executing database migration strategies at enterprise-scaleExceptional collaboration skills with executives and cross-functional teamsExtensive experience working with large, distributed, high-performance, high-availability databases with 24/7 uptimeExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsDesirable skillsets/ good to have:
