US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently seeking Mid-Level Database Engineer with active Top-Secret/SCI clearances to support a large project for a federal government client.

This position can be filled in Washington, DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Partner with architects, engineers, information analysts, business, and technology stakeholders for developing and deploying enterprise grade platforms that enable data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Analyzes and designs technical solutions to address business needs.
• Develops, tests, and modifies software to improve efficiency of data platforms and applications.
• Identifies, investigates, and proposes solutions to technical problems.
• Coordinate with data operations teams to deploy changes into production.
• Serve to support Test, QA, and Production environments.
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Database Engineer, Principle Engineer (Lead Developer), or similar role for large scale, complex enterprise solutions using agile practices in a service-oriented and Micro services environment with tight deadlines. Experience with both development and infrastructure efforts.
o Postgres 15+
o Liquibase configuration management
o Yet Another Markup Language (YAML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
o Entity-Attribute-Value (EAV) design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $161,600
