Job Description:At Regions, the Database Reporting Analyst creates, designs, and runs database reports using report writing tools based on end-user needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Creates, designs, and runs database reportsUpdates and performs maintenance on existing reportsHandles database administration, data consolidation and management reportingOwns processes, reports, procedures, or productsServes as procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross-function processes or project deliverablesUtilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendationsProvides support to research teams or management by collecting data and reporting resultsFollows established guidelines and identifies and resolves problems using some independence of thoughtContributes to workflow or process change and redesignOwns regular reporting and process administrationCollaborates with various function teams to achieve business resultsAdheres to the field's concepts, practices, and proceduresRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsApplies creativity and latitude as applicableThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of reporting and/or data management experienceOr High School Diploma and nine (9) years of reporting and/or data management experiencePreferences
Advanced degree (i.e., Master of Business Administration) or professional designationCertified in Structured Query Language (SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and other various Microsoft programsSkills and Competencies
Advanced computer skillsExcellent analytical and time-management skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsGeneral business knowledgeWorking knowledge of SQL and is proficient in data manipulation and extraction techniquesPosition Type

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
