Database Technology Manager
Description We are in search of a Database Technology Manager to join our team located in Central, New Jersey. This role primarily involves managing database systems, optimizing data workflows, and conducting backend analysis in the insurance industry. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the overall integrity, performance, and security of our database systems • Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis • Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to convert business needs into effective database solutions • Analyze backend data processes to enhance efficiency and scalability • Work closely with IT teams to guarantee smooth data integration across various platforms • Identify and troubleshoot database-related bottlenecks and inefficiencies • Provide comprehensive reports and insights to aid business decision-making • Recognize trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities within backend data structures • Maintain technical documentation for database architecture and processes • Use Linux Technologies, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Optimization, AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Cluster Analysis, and Configuration Management skills for Database Administration. Requirements • Proficiency in Linux Technologies is essential for the effective management of database systems. • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure, enabling seamless cloud-based database operations. • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server to manage and manipulate data efficiently. • Familiarity with Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and recovery in case of any unforeseen incidents. • Proficiency in Cluster Analysis to handle large data sets and derive meaningful insights. • Experience in Configuration Management to maintain system consistency and functionality. • Strong background in Database Administration to ensure smooth and efficient database operations.
