Job Description
An employer is looking for a Integration Technician to work in VA. This person will rack, cable, and inventory network and server equipment for a majority of role. They should understand, learn, and apply diagnostic methods to troubleshoot datacenter equipment, physically assist in moving, installing and racking equipment as directed for special projects and troubleshoot or repair server and network hardware (hard drives, memory, network drives, etc).

Skills and Requirements
Rack, cable, and inventory network and server equipment majority of role
Understand, learn, and apply diagnostic methods to troubleshoot datacenter equipment
Physically assist in moving and racking equipment as directed for special projects
Troubleshoot and repair server and network hardware such as hard drives, memory, network drives, etc.
Perform equipment installs, decommissioning, and moves (servers, network appliances, etc.)
Perform in-depth quality checks in all aspects of projects
Maintain asset inventory in an automated computer system
Create and update tickets in ticketing system
Un-rack and decommission equipment as necessary
Consistently keep internal documentation up to date
Possibility of onsite work/travel
Work with other groups to identify areas to enhance uptime and reduce time to resolve problems
Other tasks as required by management null
