DAV/Data Quality Specialist Raleigh, NC **Hybrid** Contract $54.84/hr - $54.84/hr Our client is looking for a DAV/Data Quality Specialist for a 12-month contract in Raleigh, NC 27601. Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience + 3 years of experience and knowledge of health information exchange data standards and formats, including knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems data architecture. + 3 years of experience as a subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, EHRs, HL7 v2 and C- CDA messages. + 3 years of experience with clinical data ETL techniques, data verification, data quality management, and validation. + 3 years of experience with analyzing and documenting processes and requirement specifications and developing clinical workflows. + 3 years of experience and understanding of general IT architectural principles, technical designs and specifications. + 3 years of experience and verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients. + 3 years of experience and knowledge of HIPAA & health care regulatory compliance as they relate to Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record systems & HIE. + 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools, including Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint. + 3 years of experience interacting as a productive team member on a project team or managing a project task. + 3 years of experience and ability to weigh alternatives and consequences to make informed decisions on current operational issues. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities + This position will have responsibility for the planning, coordination, and implementation of compliance to health information exchange standards during the onboarding and in-production periods for the state health infomation.? + Position will have a good grasp of clinical information systems and be able to communicate needs to information technology staff.? + Position interacts with a broad range of clients and/or technology support employees, requiring strong communications skills and ability to use a wide range of technical resources for providing technical support. + This position will largely be responsible for working with Medicaid providers/health systems as they undergo the NCQA DAV program, prioritizing participants as necessary in support of the larger Medicaid workplan. + This role will involve direct interaction with the Medicaid team at state departments, keeping them informed about the status of the DAV program and ensuring milestones are met for Medicaid use cases.
