THE JOB:
The primary role of the Usher is to warmly greet and engage with guests before, during, and after performances. You will guide guests to their seating locations and monitor each section to ensure a top-notch experience. All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $20.9381 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet and engage with guests, providing exceptional SHOW ServiceDeliver outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experienceCreate memorable "WOW" moments for all guestsOversee guest entry and exit at the doorsShow guests to their seats and assist with their needsManage specific seating areas (VIP, General Admission, etc.) and direct guests based on their ticketsMonitor guest behavior during the show, including photography and disruptionsAddress and resolve guest complaintsKnow the showroom layout and showtimesFollow the guidance of supervisorsAdhere to property and departmental policies and proceduresPerform any additional duties to support the department's successTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma, GED or educational equivalentMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysOne (1) year of previous guest service experiencePrevious experience working in a theatre or box office and using a two-way radioExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholdersCapable of standing and walking for a majority of the shiftMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidaysTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:
