Work Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, (plus 1 on-call day) Sunday start time is 10:30AM Monday-Wednesday start time is 7AM Thursdays are On Call OFF on Friday and Saturday Shifts are approximately 10 hours and depend on the volume of our business. Main Ingredients of the Job: + Transports pallet loads of product from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment and ensures all pallets are secure in designated slots to avoid damage or injury when product is selected. + Replenishes pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection. + Performs operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher. + Records all product, equipment, and warehouse damage. + Maintains the cleanliness of aisles by removing any debris from floor and racks. What you Bring to the Table: Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Related Experience: Job related certification for Material Handling Equipment; Prior Selector and/or Forklift experience is preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed. Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); must be able to understand Voxware commands. Physical Requirements: Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product **Great Forklift Operators are crucial to the US Foods® team and one of the important faces of our organization.
