This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 during a single calendar week. This position is a part time position with varied hours Monday thru Friday TBD at each location. The primary role is to provide upkeep of the garden and greenhouse operations at the Day Programs

Responsibilities Ensure that the areas are kept clean and safeReport all hazardous conditions/equipment immediately to your supervisor Complete assigned tasks as directed by the garden support team including:

Weeding, mowing, planting, watering, fertilizing, harvesting, packing, and labeling

Effectively communicate and support the organization’s mission, vision and values.

Always communicate in a respectful manner with all people including the people we support, supervisors, other valued team members, and members of the community.

Maintain confidentiality.

 

Qualifications 18 years of age or olderPhysical Demands:Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more.
