**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer/Assembly - DAY SHIFT - UP TO $21/HR!** **Job Description** We are seeking two maintenance engineers/assembly candidates to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling machinery that ranges in size from a table to a house. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools to mount motors, valves, shafts, elevators, and more. Candidates may also be involved in painting and need to read a bill of materials to retrieve parts. Training in print reading will be provided, though prior experience is preferred. **Responsibilities** + Assemble machinery ranging from the size of a table to the size of a house. + Use hand and power tools to mount motors, valves, shafts, elevators, and more. + Read and interpret bills of materials to retrieve parts. + Learn and apply print reading; prior experience with blueprints is preferred. + Cut and thread piping using various machines including sheer machines, pipe threaders, and band saws. + Perform tack welding, which will be taught on the job. + Potentially perform painting tasks and wear a respirator if necessary. + Bring and use own basic hand and power tools. **Essential Skills** + Experience in mechanical assembly, welding, pipe threading, and blueprint reading. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Mechanical inclination through work experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience with print reading, which could include construction blueprints or furniture building plans. + Willingness to learn new skills such as tack welding and print reading. **Why Work Here?** After the contract-to-hire period, employees can enjoy comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance at a relatively low cost. The company does not perform heat treating but manufactures the equipment for clients like Honda, Caterpillar, and John Deere. This is a drug-free workplace with a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime if required.
