The Painter will prepare and apply paint, varnishes, and other coatings to a variety of products. **Your main tasks and responsibilities:** + Manage material movement through the department which aligns with the most immediate needs of internal customers to meet On-Time-Delivery (OTD) performance metrics. + Operate overhead and manual floor lifting equipment to maneuver, load, and unload items onto and off of the paint line that exceed 50lbs. + Utilize pre-coating agents, mix and match colors and textures according to specifications, and fill or level materials as required. + Follow compound specifications for mixing of paints and painting techniques. + Apply paint and any additional finishes according to sales order and work instructions. + Read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and material data sheets. + Maintain accurate and complete records as required. + Perform quality inspections as described in quality plans and work instructions. + Follow quality procedures according to ISO 9001. + Commitment to following all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to, proper use of required PPE at all times. + Understand individual "right and duty to intervene".
