This part-time role involves split shifts, ensuring safe and timely transport of children, and working closely with our transport nurse. Schedule This position offerssplit shifts from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.No nights, weekends, or major holidays. Essential Job Functions + Safely pick up and drop off children at their homes or designated locations, including field trips. + Assist nursing staff with the loading and unloading of children and any necessary equipment. + Maintain routine vehicle maintenance, keeping it operational and fueled daily. + Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle, including child safety seats. Qualifications and Requirements + Must hold acurrent Florida Driver's License. + Experience working with children is a plus. + Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record. + High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Other Skills/Abilities + Strong attention to detail and time management skills. + Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a safe and nurturing environment. + Effective communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements + Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. + Ability to sit for prolonged periods and respond quickly in emergency situations.
