What will your job look like?

You will: 

Install, configure, and maintain SQL database servers and processes.Monitor system's health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and archiving.Identify long running SQL queries and optimize them.Implement and manage database security (e.g., creating and maintaining users and roles, assigning permissions).Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and optimization.Monitor Deployments  to ensure data  integrityDevelop, implement, and maintain database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.Design and implement database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions.Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database designs.Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.Stay current with new database technologies and analyze their potential impact on the organization.All you need is... Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator or similar role.Strong knowledge on Azure IAAS SQL server and always on ConfigurationStrong knowledge of SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) On Tabular model experience.Knowledge of database backup and recovery, database security, and database monitoring tools.Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database) is a plus.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.Why you will love this job:
