Job Requirement: Prefer Knowledge of PeopleSoft, but not required, DB2 Mainframe, CA Tools, DB2 Connect, Performance Tuning

· Responsible for the PeopleSoft DB2 Mainframe databases
Position Description:
· Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance.
· Works with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field. Or equivalent work experience.
· Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
· Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best
practices
· Takes initiative to solve complex problems; takes an “outside-in”
perspective to identify innovative solutions
· Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex
situations
