POSITION PURPOSE

The Process Improvement Specialist works in an area that pertains to all areas of the Distribution Center.  This person must be very reliable and work with little Supervision.

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES   

Provide System Support for Shipping, Receiving, Transportation, and Retail Departments. Daily Selector and Receiving Auditing. Time performance studies to determine performance standards for the Distribution Center. Pharmacy Shipping and Receiving. Distribution Center member equipment safety certification. Outside Sales. Monitor code dates and research. Distribution Center new items set up and file maintenance. Warehouse remapping to increase productivity.  Recall system updating.  Distribution Center alternative pick set up and maintenance on   slots.     Review daily end of day system reports.  Rack label maintenance.  Receiving and Putaway aisle audits.  Pack changes/Inventory transfers.  Multiple item maintenance.  Distribution Center management projects (30 plus projects per year)  New system packages, testing, and support.  Testing and member training on new system releases.  Daily system research and follow up on discontinued items.  Maintain RPIM files for all warehouses.  Perform all other duties as assigned.  Must have the minimum amount of policy points.  Must be certified on all Bashas’ equipment.  Must be able to pass a complete background check.
