This position will be expected to operate fork trucks and stock pickers in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Primary duties will include processing orders requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker, maintaining inventory integrity, and improving efficiencies throughout the distribution center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform order adjustments (repicks) and various tasks, especially those requiring the use of a forklift or stock picker.
Monitor, research and resolve allocation issues in the Problem Resolution (Orders) program.
Perform inventory transfers and inventory adjustment as needed.
Print and apply location label requests.
Request repair and replacement of RF and Vocollect units.
Review and research various reports.
Research inventory discrepancies and explain large quantity on hand adjustments.
Research and correct item numbers/locations in the LogPro Quantity Correction Program.
Audit outbound parcels and inbound license plates daily. Verify results.
Perform daily audits and reconcile all items located in damage locations.
Process items in the “relabel” location.
Perform slotting jobs determined by the DC and the Slotting Task Force Leader.
Maintain correct rule sets/rule set assignments.
Help maintain accurate dimensional data.
Perform all job functions associated with Factory Stock Adjustments and Factory Stock Lifts, processing stray parts, relabel/changeover projects, and Final Sweeps and Recalls.
Perform daily cycle counts of select Freon items numbers.
Inventory critical supply items monthly.
Perform a Return Department verification each quarter.
Assist with accountability for DC shrink goals and cleanliness/safety requirements.
Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
Team Members with experience may be designed as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all document action is completed. Trainers are responsible to explain specific job duties/functions and to help ensure success of new and existing team members.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:Basic computer skills
Must complete and pass company-standardized test
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Ability to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately
Desired:High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience in a warehouse environment
Alphanumeric stocking or RF directed stocking experience
Knowledge in the automotive and/or store industry and familiarity with automotive parts
Knowledge of the WMS operations systems
Advanced computer skills
Mechanical equipment certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
