  General Summary

Assist in the finishing, assembly and packaging of products. Operate manufacturing equipment to produce component parts. Set up equipment as necessary. Might make minor adjustments to equipment in order to maintain production and quality standards. Notify the Operations Supervisor of any occurrences that negatively impact production. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Primary Duty

Addendum: Specifics for Area Worked

 

Position Summary:

 

Pick and box items based on customer orders to be sent to the shipping dock for delivery.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

 

Picking of specific items and quantities of various order types from all assigned areas on the floor utilizing a hand scanner to fill orders. Use a machine to manually seal boxes of picked items. Housekeeping duties to ensure the DC is free of debris. May replenishing inventory of corrugated shipping boxes throughout the warehouse.

 

Qualifications - Required Skills:

 

Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers. Basic math skills. Basic computer literacy. Physical requirements to include but not limited to: Ability to lift up to 20lbs frequently, and up to 30lbs occasionally. Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. Manual dexterity. Stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and crouch or crawl.
