General SummaryAssist in the finishing, assembly and packaging of products. Operate manufacturing equipment to produce component parts. Set up equipment as necessary. Addendum: Specifics for Area Worked
Position Summary:
Pick and box items based on customer orders to be sent to the shipping dock for delivery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
Picking of specific items and quantities of various order types from all assigned areas on the floor utilizing a hand scanner to fill orders. Use a machine to manually seal boxes of picked items. Housekeeping duties to ensure the DC is free of debris. May replenishing inventory of corrugated shipping boxes throughout the warehouse.
Qualifications - Required Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers. Basic math skills. Basic computer literacy. Physical requirements to include but not limited to: Ability to lift up to 20lbs frequently, and up to 30lbs occasionally. Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. Manual dexterity.
