From infrastructure, plumbing, and appliances, to HVAC, fire protection, fabrication, and more, we make our customers’ complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable. **Hiring a Pipe Yard Quality Assurance Associate/Cycle Counter on 1st shift.** **Position will work M-F from 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM with possible overtime.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Perform cycle counts in the Pipe Yard, including Mid-Year and Year-End cycle counts. + Audit orders for accuracy and damage. + Assist in special handling and tagging requests by customers. + Assist in tasks as defined by Leadership including but not limited to Credits, location investigations, product investigations, receiving investigations. + Research and resolve inventory discrepancies involving products and quantities. + Accurately updates information on computer to maintain inventory records. + Represent the FEI organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed. + Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs. + Resolve all inventory concerns as reported on Problem Forms and Location Research Forms + Examines invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations. + May recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of operations. + Accurately records received and shipped items according to established procedures. + Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations. + Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse. + Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. + Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management. *Pre-employment background check & drug screen required* Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
