Basic Job Functions:
The DCS Trainee role is an entry-level position designed to provide comprehensive training in Distributed Control System (DCS) operations, with a focus on Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production utilizing HYL ZR technology. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in process control, troubleshooting, and safety protocols. Successful candidates will complete a structured training program, demonstrate aptitude through assessments, and develop the skills needed to contribute to the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of the plant.

+ Participate in a structured training program covering Distributed Control Systems (DCS) fundamentals, HYL ZR technology, and plant operations.
+ Assist in monitoring and operating the DCS system to oversee and manage plant processes.
+ Track plant performance and process parameters to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Support troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve operational challenges.
+ Maintain accurate and timely records of system operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
+ Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
+ 3-4 years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
+ Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Process Control, or a related field. Bachelors degree is preferred.
+ DeltaV experience is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
+ Fundamental understanding of control systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic computer literacy and capability to learn new software programs.
