Role Summary:
The Deal Desk, Business Analyst should be an outgoing, self-starter who is comfortable and confident working on multi-dimensional projects across sales, operations, and finance. This position will serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on deal structuring, pricing, quoting, contract management, and revenue optimization. The business analyst will also provide key insights based on available data and help business stakeholders make informed decisions and stay on plan to achieve the company and business unit goals. This role will require strong business acumen with the ability to perform advanced analytics and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in deal models, pricing strategies, distribution models, financial metrics, and quoting processPartner with field sales team to ensure deals are optimized to meet program guidelines and strategic business objectivesMonitor quoting queue in Salesforce, consistently maintaining expected turn around timesPerform on-going analysis to support core business activities primarily focused on supporting the sales and operations teams within North AmericaCreate documentation and training materials related to process and policyDevelop reports and dashboards to track performance against business initiatives and sales objectivesSupport members of the selling, retention and distribution management teams through customer and partner analysisMonitor system (CRM) adoption, process compliance, and data integrityIdentify opportunities for process automation and optimization with a focus on scalability and driving operational efficiencyPerform ad hoc financial and operational analyses as requiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or other related fields required2-5 years prior work experience in a related role such as Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance is highly preferredExperience with Salesforce.com and CPQ highly preferredAbility to work well individually as well as in a team environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsDetail oriented and strong organizational, time and stress management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple projectsExcellent interpersonal skillsProven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisionsSolid leadership skillsAbility to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new situationsProficient in Excel, including formulas, vlookups, & pivot tables required.Intermediate-to-advanced skills with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Einstein Analytics highly preferredOur Company:
