Dealer Technical Manager
The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join our dynamic team. The Technical Manager is an inter-departmental dealer position with a strategic focus on communication of a highly technical nature. This position manages communications between TLG and the Peterbilt Motors Company. Responsible for providing in-depth technical support for the dealer group and its technicians as well as providing additional training. What We Offer: * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental and Basic Life * 401K with employer contribution * Bi-weekly Pay Schedule * Opportunity for advancement and Career Development Responsibilities: * Monitor open engine support cases. * Facilitate and maintain open communication with TLG and Peterbilt Motors. * Assist technicians with hard-to-diagnose cases. * Assist customers with technical issues. * Provide customer training on vehicle, engine operation and maintenance. * Provide training for Service Technicians and additional coaching. * Implement and maintain proper communication procedures relating to technical topics such as emerging issues and field resolutions. * Manage open hard to diagnose cases, ensures cases are resolved as soon as possible. * Report emerging issues to Peterbilt Motors. * Communicates with other Technical Managers to establish an informational network. * Responsible for providing New and Used truck sales support. * Completes all relevant Peterbilt training: MX Certification, Field Service Shadow Program, Annual Peterbilt Field Service Training, and Advanced Diagnostics / ESC. Qualifications: * Must possess High school diploma. * Vocational degree in diesel mechanics or equivalent education is strongly recommended. * Must have completed the Peterbilt Training Road map. * 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred. *Please note this is a safety-sensitive position The Larson Group Peterbilt is an Equal Opportunity Employer that prohibits discrimination or harassment of any type.
