As part of our team, you’ll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and providing your insights on all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.

PwC’s Transaction Services practice helps companies and private equity firms analyse acquisitions, divestitures and strategic alliances, and to access the global capital markets. In each case we have the same overriding objective: to ensure that our clients maximize the return on their deal. With more than around 400 dedicated Transaction Services specialists in Spain, we bring a unique combination of financial, commercial and operational insight to every deal. Our dedicated industry specialists across these disciplines deliver unparalleled knowledge to our clients as we navigate the deal process with them.
We work solely on deals - helping buyers and sellers to prepare better, close faster and realize profits sooner on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and financing transactions.
Our principal focuses as regards to this position are in the areas of:
Financial due diligence projects, working for either the acquirer or the vendor. Both private equity houses (including some of the top worldwide names) and major international and national corporate clients.
Critical review of the key value drivers of the business, both for the historical period or financial projections.
Leverage the use of Data & Analytics tools to focus our efforts in delivering insights: our view on the main financial and business issues or upsides identified during our work
Provide support to our clients in price adjustment definitions and analysis
Requirements:
Degree in Business / Economics or engineering
Fluent in English (day to-day work would be in English)
Spanish will be a plus (not mandatory)
2-8 years of experience in audit, financial due diligence, corporate finance or private equity
Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills
Advanced Excel skills
Data analytics will be a plus (Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot & Alteryx)
