DEAMS Consultant
Kearney & Company is currently seeking a DEAMS Consultant to join our team! Please note that this position is fully remote supporting a client in the Dayton area. After a period of transition, the DEAMS Consultant position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of their team’s responsibilities, which range from audit liaison support, coordination of audit remediation efforts, oversight of monitoring procedures, and other compliance and audit support, as needed. The DEAMS Consultant will collaborate with an additional team lead and report to the Senior Consultant. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment Maintain relationships with key client personnel Understand business operations, processes, and functions unique to the client Apply information technology and audit concepts to the client’s mission Draft and prepare project deliverables Work in a team environment with clients, Kearney team members, and other contractors Balance multiple projects and/or tasks concurrently and meet strict deadlines Review audit reports, notice of findings and recommendations, and corrective action plans (CAPs) and provide guidance and recommendations to the client; assist in the development of CAPs, as needed Review and evaluate internal controls and supporting documentation Perform quality control reviews and assist in the submission of supporting documentation for internal and external audits Determine compliance with policies and selected laws/regulations and provide recommendations for improvement Ensure project deliverable compliance and quality Be a self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented Effectively communicate and present findings to the client in writing and orally Supervise and review work performed by other associates or team members Supports firm-wide initiatives Qualifications Required Qualifications: BA/BS/BBA degree Minimum of 4 years of relevant supervisory experience Passed or holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. Secret (or higher, such as Top Secret or TS/SCI) security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship) Experience working on a financial statement audit, FISMA, and/or SOC engagement Working knowledge of NIST SPs and FISCAM Experience working with or auditing one or more of the following technologies: Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Momentum, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle PeopleSoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud or similar cloud computing services, and/or SAP Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Federal Government and/or DoD clients Experience managing internal budgets and tracking engagement specific metrics Experience supporting proposal efforts Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Galvanize [formerly, Audit Command Language (ACL)] Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
