Grinnell College is looking for you to become our next Dean of Health and Wellness. Due to a retirement, the college is looking for a candidate to build upon the excellent work of the previous Dean and sustain the vision for student health and wellness on campus. They will provide overall direction for an integrated health and wellness center which includes mental health counseling, health services, tele-psychiatry, and wellness promotion. Reporting to the Associate VP of Student Affairs, this role will work cross-functionally and divisionally to advance goals and initiatives that contribute to student wellbeing. Key Responsibilities + Create and sustain health and wellness vision + Provide overall direction to an integrated student health and wellness operation + Serve as a senior leader within the division of Student Affairs representing the department on committees + Oversee and implement policies and procedures to govern medical and mental health care + Provide direct supervision of Student Health and Wellness leadership + Provide occasional direct clinical care for students in emergent or triage situations; consult in an on-call capacity for deans on call.
