Debug Technician

Job Description: Responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic circuit boards. This is not an IT role.

Payrate: $24 to $27.60

Responsibilities:

Perform verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies.Run tests in Linux and analyze log files produced by tools running in Linux.Log into the server under analysis via ssh for part of the analysis.Understand and troubleshoot failures from servers that failed at POST, requiring a good understanding of computer operation theory (electronically speaking).Utilize knowledge of CPU, DIMMs, BIOS, etc., to diagnose and repair issues.Engage in three weeks of on-the-job training to reach a level of working independently.

Skills:

Basic Linux knowledge.Troubleshooting and debugging.Understanding of SSH and electronics.Lift up to 25 lbs.
