The second shift Deburr Finisher I is responsible for deburring parts using various hand and power tools. (Training will occur on first shift for approximately four to six weeks).
This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. (Training will be Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM). Overtime is routine.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Remove burrs from machined parts using various hand and power tools. Select proper methods and tools for deburring with or without assistance. Polish and blend surfaces.
Set-up and operate all equipment (i.e. Deburr Bench, various Grinders, etc.) in the Deburring area. Check work against the blueprint with or without assistance.
Work with basic precision measuring instruments (including caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.) to manufacture product to specifications and requirements. Maintain all records required by the Company.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
Basic math understanding. Understand, follow, and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time. Ability to work with handheld tools (i.e. Die Grinder, Dremel Tool, etc.) for extended periods of time. Sitting or standing for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Reading blueprints.
Deburring metal parts.
Working in a manufacturing environment.
Other RequirementsThis position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
