Following specific instructions, the Deburr Employee operates handheld tools to deburr manufacturing products, ensuring all productivity, safety and quality guidelines are achieved.
Shift: The hiring manager is willing to consider either Weekend Day or Night shift
Weekend Day Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:30 am - 6:00 pm
Weekend Night Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:30 pm - 6:00 am
Reporting Relationships:
The Deburr Technician will report to the Operations Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand, adhere, and demonstrate the company’s commitment to safety and qualityMaintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift times or a pre-arranged work scheduleWith minimal to no supervision, perform all levels of hand finishing tasks such as edge breaking and employing a number of different deburr tools and media to achieve specified surface finishes on a number of different materialsUtilize a number of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, profilometers, etc.Follow instructions and directions given by their immediate lead, manager, or senior machinistEnsure the scheduled cycle time to deburr a scheduled product vs. actual time taken to deburr a product is being completed under set cycle times or meet scheduled cycle timesEnsures tools are operating in a safe manner, following all safety protocols and guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Experience:
