**Job Title: Deburr Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Deburr Technician for the 1st shift (5am-1:30pm) in an aerospace machine shop located in Santa Ana, CA. This position is open to both entry-level candidates eager to start a career in a machine shop and experienced deburr technicians. Compensation is based on experience but will be between $18-$23 an hour. **Responsibilities** + Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications. + Use machines to grind, smooth, and buff parts. + Utilize hand tools to smooth sharp edges. + Employ sandblasting, cleaning, and polishing tools to correct flaws. + Review blueprints and work orders to understand the desired shape and size of finished products. + Visually inspect and compare raw materials and manufactured components to a template. + Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines. + Examine surfaces to find defects and remove them, smoothing uneven surfaces. + Use measuring equipment to validate that parts are machined according to specifications. **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is ideal, but entry-level candidates are welcome. + Experience with blueprints and interpretation of work orders. + Proficiency in deburring, polishing, and grinding. + Skilled in using hand tools and power tools. + Experience in inspection processes using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. + Fabrication and CNC machine knowledge a plus **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
