The primary role of the material handler position is to distribute materials throughout the production floor, scanning product, and moving it to specified locations while operating powered industrial
trucks in a safe manner.

 

Report to front line leadership.Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for any production concernsStock machines with correct materials by reading, interpreting and processing lot information and material type.Move product to and from appropriate machines to WIP area or Warehouse area.Verify ID stickers and carton labels using hand held scanner.Assist Palletizer or Shipping as needed.Stock warehouse with product as neededMaintain lot documentation when moving scrap.Report any non-conformances to front line leadership.Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning as assigned/requiredUphold Safety AbsolutesWork & perform to ISO standards, SOPs & established Work InstructionsUphold Quality Standards & follow the Absolutes.Other duties as assigned.

Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to safety
standards.Conduct required safety reviews of equipment and processes prior to project start-up.Support the accomplishment of your work groups through the quality, timeliness and
professionalism of your attitude.Supply accurate and timely data as required by performance tracking and reporting.Uphold Safety AbsolutesApply resources in a manner that maximizes their effectiveness while assuring
quality.Maintain a work environment that will contribute to the assurance of safety and GMP
compliance.Adhere to established procedures, perform self-checking and pay attention to detail
in the performance of you and your team’s work.Notify management in a timely manner of any problems with procedural compliance.Report observed quality problems and deficiencies in a timely manner.Make recommendations to management for improving the quality and efficiency of
your work.Oversee work to ensure projects are completed.
