CACI has will have an opening for an Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Ocean Engineer to support engineering and planning efforts for Submarine Rescue and Mobility platforms at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine.

What You Will Do:

Develop modernization plans/changes for the US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support SystemsPerform mechanical, electrical and/or structural analysisEvaluate components and materials and systems to ensure system integration, compatibility and stabilitySome travel will be requiredWork will be in support of US Navy Submarines, Submersibles or Deep Submergence projects
 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Ocean engineering degree from an ABET Accredited College/University (other degree disciplines may be considered)Professional engineering experience performing complex engineering calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress etc.Experience with configuration management and document control Demonstrated ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environmentAbility to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a teamWell-developed interpersonal skillsAttention to detailAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance
 

Nice to have:

Prior experience specifically with US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support Systems.Familiarity with Scope of Certification (P9290/Man-010) requirementsElectrical power background (NSTM 300)Familiarity with Military Specifications, ANSI and ASME standardsRelated submarine / submersible experience with design, maintenance, operations, repair and/or testingExperience with MS Office suite of products
