Join the General Dynamics Information Technology's Growth Talent Acquisition team, where we hire for programs that support IT Software Development and Infrastructure services for some of the largest government defense agencies. Our team recruits for a wide range of careers such as Software Developers, Systems Engineers, Cloud Architects, Desktop Support, Specialist, Database Administrators and many more. 

We're seeking someone who prides themselves in their customer service skills and abilities to partner with hiring managers to really understand the needs of the program and scope of the job. In this role we are looking for someone with extensive expertise in Growth recruiting.

**This position allows for telecommuting but employees local to the DC/Metro area will be required to come into the office(s) for meetings as needed.   

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Support Business Leaders and Growth Teams across the company on previously prioritized proposal recruiting efforts.Attends regular proposal meetings and actively contribute to proposal development by keeping the team up to date on the recruiting support and provide details on potential challenges in our efforts.Maintain up to date knowledge of business plans and the impact on proposal recruiting needs, including timing of awards, program structure, and staffing needs and share these plans routinely with the Proposal Recruiting Manager.Follow a consistent approach and concept of operations for incumbent captures, including interacting with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, etc.Follow recruitment strategies for all proposal efforts and incumbent captures to ensure consistency company-wide.Supports the execution of incumbent capture strategies.Provides weekly updates on proposal recruiting activity.Full Life Cycle recruiting for key positions on various proposals.Issue Letters of Commitment (LOC) or Letters of Intent (LOI) when necessaryResearch new careers, technologies, and/or alternate sources (Associations, niche job boards, MeetUps, LinkedIn groups, etc) and sources job boards to find candidates with unique or cutting-edge experience.Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through pre-screens, interviews, reference checks, applications, and resumes, ensuring the compensation offer is competitive, internally equitable, and affordable.Performs compensation analysis and evaluates offers with hiring managers. Then negotiates and extends offers to candidates on behalf of GDIT.Completes or coordinates all on-boarding processes. Ensures all phases of the recruiting process are conducted in accordance with General Dynamics and GDIT's Ethics, Legal and Human Resources policies.Ensures that GDIT's internal applicant tracking system is maintained and completed; applicants are dispositioned according to OFCCP guidelines; internal candidates are dispositioned and contacted appropriately; and interview reports are completed accurately.Works with marketing or other teams to create and place employment ads in newspapers, trade magazines, websites, etc.Runs queries of automated systems and provides information to management as requested.Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team to brainstorm on hard to fill positions, pitch in on surge, etc.Coordinates and participates in job fairs as needed.Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all tasks.Maintains a cooperative relationship with departments throughout GDIT and its clients to ensure that fair employment practices are followed.Serves as an internal consultant to the business regarding staffing needs and projections and advises on the best course of action to fill open positions.Conducts regular follow-up with GDIT and Clients' personnel to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced Recruiters.Participates in special projects as required.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years recruiting experienceIn lieu of degree, 9 years of relevant experience is requiredExperience in Government Contracting and recruiting for CLEARED positions (ie. Poly clearances)Experience recruiting a wide variety of roles in IT (ie. Software Developers, Cyber, Network Engineers)Experience with international recruiting is preferredExperience with ATS systems such as WorkdayExperience working in a production environment meeting successful hiring goals and time to fill targetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
