Summary: On a typical day, but not limited to the Factory Facing Focal involvement with production on shop floor supplier findings of non-conforming product. Coordination with supplier and Supplier Quality Representative on findings of investigation of supplier provided product found non-conforming on the production floor. Review of nonconformance tags charged to supplier for acceptance. Coordinate with SQR for closure of RCCA on supplier findings. Coordination with Production Floor, as well as Supply Chain Management, on supplier issues. Represents the company with suppliers. Provides technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory education and coaching on the Quality System. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: Investigate supplier product rejected by production shop floor for validation of supplier responsibility Ensure that suppliers provide Root Cause and Corrective Action on supplier non-conforming product rejected on tags in SAP/MES Investigation of customer initiated non-conformance tags for validation of supplier responsibility Containment of non-conforming supplier product Becoming Material Review Board approved for validation of supplier rejections Qualifications Required Qualifications: 5 - 8 years of experience in manufacturing and operations 5 - 8 years of experience with Quality/Manufacturing Engineering Competent in Root Cause Corrective Action and ability to perform conformity checks. Strong ability to read drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI) and understand contracts.
