A local family-owned insurance company is currently hiring a skilled leader in the insurance space to take on a leadership role in their pension department as a Pension Manager. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Defined Benefit (DB) and Pension space.
Pay - $25/hr. - $27/hr.
Location - Spokane, WA (100% onsite; Monday - Friday)
Schedule - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Contract Duration - 4-Months Contract-To-Hire
(Primary Duties)
• Ensure accurate and timely calculation of pension benefits for clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the programming team and clients to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Lead the implementation of new client pension plans, ensuring all requirements are met and processes are followed.
• Pull and analyze reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the legal team to draft and review pension-related documentation.
• Organize and coordinate meetings between internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project management.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the pensions team to ensure that timelines are met efficiently and accurately.
(Qualification Requirements)
• Must have Defined Benefit (DB) Pension experience.
• Must have current/prior work experience with an insurance company.
• Must have leadership experience (will be managing a team of 3+ individuals).
• 3+ years of experience in Insurance, Pensions, 401k, Eligibility, or related field
• Experience working with Legal teams or in a legal setting (not required but strongly considered)
• High School Diploma

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
