Responsibilities
•Provide Nurse Case Management and Nursing Delegation functions including 45-day on-site assessments, individual assessment of health status, evaluation of medication administration delivery system to include: Review of Medication Administration Record(s) (MARs) Client Medications, and Physician Medication Order Form(s) (PMOF’s) for individuals needing nursing delegation services.
On-call coverage for medical/nursing-related matters Provide evaluation of competency of Certified Medication Technicians New Member Assessments Develop initial nursing evaluation and the nursing plan of care Available to staff to answer questions concerning medical and/or medication issues• Perform staff training and retraining as needed/requested
Consult with Physicians, Family members and or team members, and pharmacy personnel asNeeded/requested
Comply with the standards outlined in the Maryland State Board Nurse Practice Act Compliance with the Health insurance Portability and Accountability ActWhat you will need for this position:
You have a positive attitude and love working with people! A graduate of a state approved school of nursing. Active RN license in MD Delegating Nurse Certificate Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute or long-term care environment.What you can expect from us:
