Delegation Support Reporting Supervisor – Pacific Time Zone – Remote

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversees the planning, design, development, modifications, testing and deployment of all Health Plan regulatory/compliance reports used across Optum Mountain West, Oregon and Washington. Signs off on report prior to implementation for use Meets with decision makers and end users to define business, financial and operational requirements Develops appropriate recommendations related to findings and collaborates with management in the development of action plans where needed Conducts the training of Delegation Oversight System Support team in the reporting application, development and maintaining of reporting job aides used for training. Ensures development and maintenance of reporting job aides are accurate and current for training Liaison between I.T. and Medical Management teams for reporting needs, system issues, and development Oversees detailed management analytical studies to define deficiencies and identify solutions, which influence the utilization department’s effectiveness Oversees projects related to reporting and system development Directs the activities and ensures the accuracy and quality of Delegation System Support reporting Conducts ongoing review and analysis of Health Plan reports to ensure accuracy and change requirements due to process and/or system changes Conducts internal process reviews and/or gathers feedback from internal and/or external customers in order to identify opportunities to improve operational performance Reviews manual report packages to identify opportunities to automate reporting and/or eliminate redundancies Monitors and Supervises Delegation Support Reporting team. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, answers questions from staff related to reporting and system issues and conducts training classes when needed for staff Signs off on employee timecards, approves PTO requests, conducts annual reviews, organizes and hosts staff meetings and/or 1:1 meetings for team members Conducts interviews for staffing positions Identifies and resolves operational problems, does write-ups of any disciplinary warnings or employee issues Reports to Director any information regarding reporting issues, system issues, compliance related issues, staffing issues

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or higher 3+ years of experience in the Managed Care industry 3+ years of business analysis experience 1+ years of supervisory experience Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Access


Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in designing reports, reading SQL code Experience working with data extracts, queries and report writing Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10, CPT, HCPC codes Familiarity with Capitated and FFS contract interpretations

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
