Performs scheduled deliveries and pickups at all perimeter locations according to established route/schedule. Job Description + **Responsibilities:** + Prepares goods and supplies for distribution, prioritizing deliveries, sorting and labeling loads ensuring the safe, correct and timely delivery of orders. + Loads materials, packages, medical equipment, and supplies onto flat beds, cars and trucks. + Delivers and unloads materials at designated destinations and obtains approval of receipt. + Picks up and delivers according to established route/schedule and verifies the delivery has been completed properly. + Delivers to designated areas using appropriate handling, storage and transportation methods. + Responds to problems related to delivery of materials to wrong locations. Maintains required logs and records which may have attributed to delivery error(s). + Remains flexible for spontaneous pickup requests and pickup locations. + Provides transportation services for patients, visitors and employees per established schedule and as requested. + Operates delivery vehicle (van/truck) on city streets and open highways delivering goods to CCF Building locations. + Documents all items being picked up and delivered. + Accurately files all paperwork. + Scans bar codes and obtains signatures where appropriate. + Submits daily route sheets, accident reports, maintenance records and mileage reports on a daily basis. + Maintains vehicle checklist and performs basic safety checks of the vehicle's operation. + Reports any malfunctions and/or problems to the supervisor. + Establishes and maintains positive relations with all personnel. + Accurately match and verify delivery tickets with packages. + Other duties as assigned. **Education:** + High School Diploma or GED.
