Responsibilities:
Prepares goods and supplies for distribution, prioritizing deliveries, sorting and labeling loads ensuring the safe, correct and timely delivery of orders.Loads materials, packages, medical equipment, and supplies onto flat beds, cars and trucks.Delivers and unloads materials at designated destinations and obtains approval of receipt.Picks up and delivers according to established route/schedule and verifies the delivery has been completed properly.Delivers to designated areas using appropriate handling, storage and transportation methods.Responds to problems related to delivery of materials to wrong locations. Maintains required logs and records which may have attributed to delivery error(s).Remains flexible for spontaneous pickup requests and pickup locations.Provides transportation services for patients, visitors and employees per established schedule and as requested.Operates delivery vehicle (van/truck) on city streets and open highways delivering goods to CCF Building locations.Documents all items being picked up and delivered.Accurately files all paperwork.Scans bar codes and obtains signatures where appropriate.Submits daily route sheets, accident reports, maintenance records and mileage reports on a daily basis.Maintains vehicle checklist and performs basic safety checks of the vehicle's operation.Reports any malfunctions and/or problems to the supervisor.Establishes and maintains positive relations with all personnel.Accurately match and verify delivery tickets with packages.Other duties as assigned.Education:
High School Diploma or GED. General computer knowledge.Must have good oral, written communications and interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate and document activities and reports.Ability to follow verbal and written directions.Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work requests.Ability to work under pressure, receive large volume of deliveries and maintain schedules.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Ability to work well with all other personnel and warehouse personnel.Certifications:
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) requiredNo points preferred and never to exceed 4 points total allowable.Maintain eligibility of insurability as determined by CCF's insurance carrier's requirement to operate a company vehicle.Meets security clearance for confidential information.Complexity of Work:

Personal Protective Equipment:
Latex gloves on hand in vehicle. Seat belt required to be worn at all times. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
