Delivery Drivers will perform functions to assist the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Warehousing & Logistics Support contract.

Responsibilities

Shall perform a variety of delivery driver duties, to include, but not limited to the following:

Shall be licensed in accordance with local, state, or federal laws

Shall possess the basic knowledge and skills required to operate required vehicle 

Material must be picked up at or delivered to the correct destination in a timely manner

Responsible for the successful and accurate completion of all MANCON required logs and safety checks, dailyVerifying materials against receiving, shipping, storage and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damageRouting materials to prescribed storage, freight forward and/or shipping and receipt locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed shipping methodsProcess and/or affix, shipment, pick/pack and other paperwork and reports as requiredOperates hand or power trucks and/or forklift in performing truck loading, unloading and delivery of material.Deliveries are typically within the local area and include, but are not limited to emergency and scheduled overnight deliveries.Inspect vehicles for safety prior to operationOther duties as assigned Qualifications Driver's LicenseAbility to obtain and maintain a Forklift LicenseDOT Medical Card Preferred Qualifications CDL Driver's License2 Years Commercial Driving Experience2 Years Forklift Operation Experience2 Years Commercial/Government Warehouse ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDCOVID-19 Vaccination Physical Requirements Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
