What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

40 hours per weekTypical schedule is Monday - Friday(1:30am-9:30am)Will be part of holiday shift rotation (1:00am - 9:00am)Will be part of on-call shift rotation (typically 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks from 7am-midnight Saturday & Sunday).Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, schedules, days and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation Processes packages returned from customer locationsMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredMust hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving recordMinimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehiclePrior delivery driving experience a plusAbility to lift containers weighing up to 40 poundsComfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hoursAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of timeStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work weekends/weekends/on call or be in a rotationFlexibility to work various days, schedules, hours or overtime as neededAbility to use computers and tablets
